Most of John’s work is expressed through digital photography and image manipulation. He is exploring and incorporating video, stop-motion animation, and digital painting. His style has been influenced by Saul Leiter and Gregory Crewdson. He strives for a compelling yet realistic view of the world around him. He favors rich, bold colors and dark scenes with pockets of light. He is interested in capturing the human condition and exploring the contrast between man-made and natural environments. John is constantly exploring technology and the creative process to refine and expand his visual tools. He intends to create art that changes him and invites others to have an experience.
